As long as you have magical rings (Ring of Fire, Healing Ring, etc.), you can go into any shop & sell the ring. The shopkeeper will offer you 7500 gold pieces. Even after you sell it you will notice that you are still carrying it. Just keep on selling it until you reach the maximum limit.
